The Gym. The classes. The box. Sometimes you just can't make it to a scheduled session, or just pretty much anywhere outside your Welcome Mat. Truth is I love the gym, but i just can't seem to get there as often as I'd like. And there are at least 4 pairs of pre-baby jeans that I refuse to throw away because I just love um. I don't know about y'all, but losing baby weight after baby #2 has been waaaaaayyy harder than losing it after #1. (It was also way easier to gain the second pregnancy, yay for post 35 metabolism) And let's be honest, mom life can't always follow mom's agenda so here are some of my favorite workouts to do from home or just sans structure. With toddlers in tow, convenience and time are of the essence! ![]() 1) T25 baby!!! Shaun T is. the. man. I'm serious. He is such fun to follow, his motivation style is perfect and he almost makes sweating fun. In all honesty, I feel like Shaun T and his team make me want to reach the end, push through and earn my workout for the day. And with only 25 minutes per session, its hard to beat. It was this workout that had me back to pre-baby jeans by the time Honor was 9 months old. T25 is a workout by Beachbody and I was lucky enough that my brother wasn't using his DVD set so I borrowed them. Check eBay or Craigslist if you don't want to pay full price for a set or check out Beachbody On Demand. ![]() ..2) Zoe Rodriguez' BUILD A BETTER BOOTY Program. I found Zoe on Instagram and quite frankly, was impressed by her derriere. If she could grow a badunkadunk from virtually nothing, then I could do it too! At least that's the promise. What I love the most about her programs is that, besides being able to do it at the gym or at home, you don't need a load of equipment. You will still feel a burn after her workout. A very real burn. And each session should only take about a half hour as well. You could do it in one episode of Paw Patrol. ![]() 3) This was also inspired by Zoe's program but I've found that trusty ol Pinterest has become my BFF when finding a HIIT workout for the day. High Intensity Interval Training is simply doing sets of exercises in bursts full intensity periods alternated with rest periods. HIIT training is super effective because it gets your heart rate up while burning fat in less time. Less time was the attractive component to me. I can search HIIT on Pinterest and up pops a ton of ideas. I can scroll until I find one that looks good for the day and burn it out. These workouts can be as short as 10 minutes so if you're super crunched for time, its a great option! ![]() 4) I heart Yoga with Adriene. If you've ever typed YOGA into YouTube's search bar, you must have already met her. Adriene has the most chill and positive vibe, its like having your girlfriend in your living room with you. You will not ever feel like you're doing it wrong or aren't bendy enough when you workout with this yogi. She has tons of different options because Yoga can be used for many things: relaxation, weight loss, uplifting, centering, and on and on. I just really enjoy workouts with her and again, can customize what I want to do just by reading the Title. Grab your mat and you might already be wearing yoga pants, and check her out. So fun your kids will probably want to join you! ![]() 5) Good old fashion fun with the rugrats. Some of my most enjoyable sweat sessions are simply grabbing the jogging stroller and heading to the park. Kick up the pace and jog or just walk it out but maybe take a few laps. Play catch, climb the jungle gym, ride a scooter, chase bubbles; your children will remember their mom taking time to play with them (and think you're the coolest) and I promise you'll enjoy that childlike joy and feel like you're 7 again.
