8 Gift Ideas Mom Will Adore

I may have mentioned this before in my Green Gift Guide, but I’m not the best gift-buyer. You know how some people are crazy thoughtful and creative? My sister Laurie, and friend Maile gift fabulous gifts. I’m just not talented like that.  But Mother’s Day is coming up, and it's no excuse to drop the ball on getting the most special women in our lives something as wonderful as they are.
So I’m compiling a list of gift ideas I think most mamas would enjoy - which is a lot easier to figure out since I’m one too! {Message to Dads: we don’t want to go out for brunch with the family. Having to tame wild kids at a fancy restaurant is not our idea of being treated, sorry} Seriously, my dream Mother’s Day would be a staycation at a lovely hotel, mostly by. my. self :)

Mamas, correct me if I’m wrong, we all love some good old relaxation, pampering and alone time.

4) Kimono Top - Yes I’m being that specific with this clothing item. Kimono Tops are flattering on EVERYONE and you don’t really need to know mom’s size as many are one size fits all. 5) Jewelry - I get jewelry for my mom often. She looks so beautiful when she gets dressed up, and when I see her wearing a piece I gave her, it's such a nice feeling. 7) Photography Session - Capture mom in a beautiful and tastefully done photoshoot. Gift her something that will make her feel like a star. She will be able to enjoy her images and you all will have the special memories and photos to adore forever. Now that I’m thinking about it, a staycation isn’t too absurd to gift mom. Maybe team up with your siblings and treat her to a weekend hotel stay. How could she not get giddy about that?!
Or am I just trying to live vicariously through this post…
Anyway, I hope this article has inspired you to do something wonderful, special, and unique for your mom, grandma, wife, or whoever you’re honoring this Mother’s Day. Even if a big gift isn’t in your budget. Bringing mom a flower and hand written letter (or poem if you’re feeling creative) letting her know how much you love and appreciate her, will truly move her.
