I want to share with you three things I have been trying and LOVING lately, and one thing I’m deciding to give up. All of these have proven health benefits, and you may find you’d like to start doing one of these too so read on.
First off, I want to say that three of these 4 shares come out of me doing a 10 Day Cleanse in January, which taught me A LOT! (That should be another article altogether) so three of these were actually pretty accidental. Don’t you just love when happy accidents happen? Struggling with acne is no fun. No matter what age you are, whether a teen or a 40-something mom of 4, pimples are the pits. But before trying out harsh treatments, please try some of these healthy lifestyle changes or safer products first. My journey with acne hasn't been severe, but I did encounter my share of blemishes growing up and still get an occasional zit, even as I enter age 40. I have had acne scarring a lot of my adult life, thus far, but I've learned there are healthier ways to address skincare and hope you're able to find a solution that can be simple and affordable for you.
How often have you written down a bunch of goals in January, only to fall off the Resolution Wagon by February? I know I have. It never feels great to fail at follow through. I’m sure intentions were so good and each resolution or goal was probably set up to increase the quality of your life.
But thinking about it is the easy part. If that’s where your goals setting ends...I’m sorry to break it to you, but you are most likely going to end the year in the same place you started.
For me, goal setting is imperative to a happy and fulfilled life. If you’re not setting your sights on gaining something, improving your circumstances, or being a blessing to others, what are you really doing?!
Here are 3 reasons why you’re probably quitting your new year goals (or not even setting them at all at this point) |
