So I know you totally don't follow trends cuz sister you're your own trend-setter.  But. Just in case you're curious, here are my best takes on what celebs and runways are rocking this season.  Maybe you'll find a new look you want to try for all those Holiday parties coming up.

I  love changing up my makeup according to the event or vibe I'm feeling that season or that day.  I enjoy experimenting with colors, application, and finishes.  Wearing the same look can feel boring, no? Well after checking out what the experts say, I compiled a list of 6 Makeup Trends I'd rock and think you might want to play with too.
Pink eyeshadow - If you've never worn pink shadow on your eyes, this feminine shade can be done in so many ways.  Subtle and matte might work for a professional look, but to boost the daring factor, try a shimmer or metallic pink over your entire lid up into your crease for a monochromatic but mega look.  Pair with pink lips and you'll give a whole new meaning to "pretty in pink".  Get matte pink with this Necessary Neutrals Palette ($89) or get shimmery with our Romantic Palette ($50)

Red Lipstick - reminiscent of mistletoe, your lips will draw all the attention these holidays when you wear a daring red color.  Application Tip - dab it onto your finger before dabbing onto your lips.  Also, using canceler to clean up edges keeps your look crisp. Our Color Intense Classic Red ($34) is ready for any occasion. Keep eyes  and cheeks subtle so your pucker is the main event.
Glossy Lips - Matte lips are so 2017.  Ok, so maybe they might still be sorta cool, but new news is that glossy lips are back and with our selection of Lip Glosses ($29), you can have color shine and shimmer (if you want) in shades from Neutral to Bold.  Wear them alone for holiday sheen, or layer them on top of a lipstick for a burst of color 2.0.   Our Holiday Lip Glosses ($89 for set) go on with a cool mint tingle, while our every season glosses have a hint of real Vanilla.

Metallic Eyes - All eyes on you when you're reflecting light off your gorgeous metallic shadow.  Wear a shimmery copper or grey on upper and lower lids, paired with voluminous lashes for va-va-voom party ready makeup.  My favorite copper shade lives in our Velvet Shadow Classic Palette ($50), but all these new Stardust Cream Shadows ($39) offer the metallic eye on lock.
Blue Eyeliner - Don't take my word for it, check with New York Fashion Week.  Blue Eyeliner is in for Fall 2018!  Choose from turquoise to Royal Blue, don't be afraid to give it a try! Smudge a blue shadow across upper lash line, sweep teal on lower water line, or take blue over your entire lid, just be ready to wear your blue with a fashion forward outfit to boot!  To pull off this look try either our Navy Blue Eyeliner ($24) or use peacock or denim shadow from our Velvet Statement Palette ($50).

Bold Lips & Cheeks - save subtle for Spring! Let your inner snow goddess out with a faux cold-nipped cheek and cranberry lips.  Just keep eyes more light and natural if you're going to wear this double drama look. Create more color on cheeks by layering a powder like Satin Blush ($30) in "date" over a Cream Blusher ($38) like "hibiscus".  "Twighlight" in our Color Intense Lipstick ($34) is a bold berry shade with long-lasting wear and a hint of peppermint.

Make-up is something that I have never understood. It is given for me, as a guy, to have little to no knowledge regarding this. Well, this is not something that I am proud of, I mean, I still want to contribute to my girlfriend you know. This is a petty thing for me to tackle, but I do want to learn more about make-up. I want to learn more about them and the first step in doing that is reading your blog.
