![]() I FINALLY got him on the healthy eating bandwagon for 2018. My other half gained all the pregnancy weight and more with the 2 boys, and we both decided it was time to drop it!! It's so much funner to cook and recipe hunt when you have someone to do it with. Ha'a is actually an excellent cook and I am so blessed, he will throw it down in the kitchen more often than I will. Ha'a loves cooking soups and stews. He's a comfort food kinda guy. We've been filling our fridge with loads of fresh fruits and veggies, sometimes without an actual plan of what to do with them. He threw this together one night and it's become a family favorite! Healthy and delicious, we eat it without an extra starch like rice (which is a super staple here in Hawaii!) Throw it together if you dare. Use as much or as little as you prefer. Cut into whatever size you like. This is truly a toss together meal, nothing fancy, but so so yummy! In his favorite red pot goes: Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Carrots Zucchini (God bless his heart, he peels them because he can't stand the squeaky sound of biting into the skin LOL) Okinawan Sweet Potato Portabella Mushrooms Onion Fresh garlic minced Salt Pepper A little Oyster Sauce And that's it!!! Cook through until chicken is done and veggies are soft and ENJOY!!!
