My Current Supplements
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not the absolute organic-est, crunchy-est, healthiest mama around. I try to eat balanced, drink, water, and live an active lifestyle. With that said, there are a couple brands and supplements I’ve incorporated into my life pretty regularly as of late.
I’ll be sharing with you what I’m using and why; and also provide ways you can try anything for yourself should you be interested.
First of all, if you’ve been following me on my personal Instagram account for some time, you’ll know that I’ve been a daily (M-F) home workout nut. I’ve completed several programs, and now am working through a hybrid program of my own. Keeping moving is a must for me! As a mom of 2 small (and VERY active) boys, I need the ability to get up and keep up with these kiddos. It also provides me a great stress relief, outlet, and feel goods in my brain and body.

I’ve been working out from home with Beachbody on demand for a year now. And taking the brand’s pre-workout drink powder for the same. Now I have to say, I cannot stand artificially flavored drinks. I’ve never been an energy drink, gatorade, kool-aid, nothing kind of gal. And if you’ve tried pre-workout drinks before, they usually have some funky taste as well. So I just haven’t been a fan and never included that in my life. Until Energize.
Energize actually tastes good to me. I drink the lemon flavor. I swear by it. Yes, it does give me the fizzies in my body, but I have come to love it. With the habit of drinking it daily + the way it makes me feel, it has absolutely turned into my go-to gott-a-have-it-gets-me-revved up drink!! Once I take it, my body and my brain know it’s go time! It would be hard to get me to switch to any other brand of pre-workout, since I’ve finally found one that I love. There are no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives in this particular drink. It’s formulated to improve performance, sharpen focus, and delay exercise-induced muscle fatigue. And of course it helps to increase energy, and endurance. It’s totally worth the pricetag, if you’re like me, and could use a little boost getting started. My friend Rachel has helped my fitness journey, you can get inspired by her healthy lifestyle on Instagram, or get your own Energize from her here. Tell her I sent you and she will send you a free gift!

A good portion of nutrition supplements I take are through Isagenix, and I’ve been shopping with them for over 2 years now. I’ll share what I’ve tried, and my quick honest review on each. Read through to see which ones are my kids’ faves!!
Isalean Shake (variety) - IsaLean® Shake is a superfood meal replacement packed with incredible flavor and the nutrients your body craves to support healthy weight loss, lean muscle building, and a better lifestyle. It has energy-fueling carbs, good fats, vitamins and minerals, and 24 grams of high-quality protein — all perfectly balanced to create a meal replacement that’s equally delicious and effective. I have taken these as meal replacement shakes or also just as a yummy boost of protein. I play around with the flavors and add ons. I like having a convenient option thats full of nutrition and quick to make.
Honest Review - these are some of the most yummy tasting shakes I’ve ever tried. I normally cannot stomach any type of protein shake, but these are actually really good. My favorite flavor is Peach Mango, second in line is Vanilla. When taking these as meal replacements as part of the weight loss plan, it worked very well for me. The shakes are filling and the plan really helps you lose inches as you cut out a lot of the empty and bad calories I would normally munch on.
Isalean Bar (variety) - IsaLean™ Bars are a great option for a meal-on-the-go. They provide 18-19 grams of high-quality protein, & support lean muscle building. I’ve used these to be my mini-meals (cut in half) during my weight loss program a couple years ago.
Honest Review - I’m not much of a bar person. I find most to be quite dry and dense. With that said, as far as flavor, Chocolate Decadence and Nutty Caramel Cashew are pretty awesome options if you’re looking to lose weight. I mean its like a healthy candy bar!
IsaFlush - this capsule helps to encourage better digestion and regularity with a combination of magnesium and gentle cleansing herbs.
Honest Review - Honestly, this is a game changer for me. To be embarrassingly transparent, years ago I began having trouble with regularity. To the point where I might not have a bowel movement for a couple days at a time. Fast forward to more recently, I would still struggle to have an easy, regular BM. If you’ve had similar issues, you know it can cause a lot of discomfort, as well as simply just feeling heavy or “big” because you just aren’t letting go of things regularly. Since I’ve been taking IsaFlush, it has been a tremendous help in keeping me regular and my BMs easy (comfortable) and I can’t say what a lifesaver that is. Now I know a lot of my tummy issues might be due to changes needed in my diet. But no matter what I’ve eaten, I can say with confidence that this product has made a huge change for me that I am so thankful for.
Natural Accelerator - this capsule is made to boost your natural metabolism in a safe, healthy way. The thermogenic ingredients like cayenne and green tea help support metabolism without jitters.
Honest Review - I’m going to be straight with yall. I haven’t remembered to take this regularly enough to know if it’s made a significant difference in my metabolism, fitness, or weight loss. Totally my bad. But I’m glad I have it.
Cleanse for Life (Berry, Peach Mango) - this drink mix was made for antioxidant protection and nutritional support during fasting (Cleanse Days as part of the Isagenix Weight Loss Program), but I take it as a daily functional beverage. It’s made with Aloe Vera to help digestion and nutrient absorption, Peppermint for soothing support of the gastrointestinal system. Licorice Root and Turmeric to support the body’s detoxification systems, a Berry Blend for antioxidant protection from bilberry, blueberry, and raspberry, and Ashwagandha to combat oxidative stress and improve energy.
Honest Review - I love my Cleanse for Life! I take in nightly as my “healthy evening tonic”. I know that it’s full of good things for my tummy and will work while I sleep. It’s become a habit before bed that’s probably better for me than a cocktail (hehe) I much prefer the peach mango flavor.
Ionix - this drink/drink mix is made with herbs and adaptogens to help you manage stress better and stay focused.
Honest Review - this one is a strong flavor so I have to take it like a shot. I can’t honestly speak to its effectiveness because I’ve been awful at taking it regularly.
Greens - This drink mix provides phytonutrients from organic vegetables. One scoop is two servings of organic, non-GMO veggies; contains a good source of fiber and iron, and only 30 calories. It’s simply loaded with all kinds of healthy organic greens, that I know I wouldn’t normally eat on my own. Just being honest here.
Honest Review - it definitely is hard to drink on its own, because it’s soooo green and healthy tasting (you know what I mean). I prefer to mix it into a smoothie. Easier to go down and honestly the yummiest way to get things like kale, pea, spirulina, quinoa, chlorella, and turmeric into my body!!
IsaKids Super Smoothie (Strawberry Blast, Ice Cream Cookie Crunch) - this is a power packed nutritional drink that tastes like dessert! My kids LOVE their “super shakes”! And I love knowing I can offer this with breakfast, as a snack or dessert and it’s full of protein and vitamins that their body needs.
Honest Review - my kids and I aren’t fans of the strawberry flavor but we are obsessed with ice cream cookie crunch! We blend ours with ice and non-fat organic milk
Harvest Thins (Garlic+Herb) - These are crunchy crackers that are full of plant-based protein and flavor! They are an amazing alternative to chips and other salty crackers with more nutrition and only 100 calories per snack bag.
Honest Review - we LOVE these! Who knew a plant based cracker could be so yummy! In fact, I try to hide mine from my kids. So flavorful. Love it!
Whey Thins (Sour Cream+Onion, White Cheddar) - Made with high-quality protein, these gluten free snacks are only 100 calories and can satisfy those cravings for chips as a healthier option. What I liked best was that it was a snack my little one loved that provided him with protein when he was a super picky eater.
Honest Review - when we first got them, we LOVED them! But since we tried the Harvest Thins, those are our new favorite now! All are very flavorful!
Slimcakes (Oatmeal Berry) - Made with 5 grams of fiber from whole oats, inulin and flaxseed, these also contain blueberries and cranberries. A simple and filling heart-healthy treat.
Honest Review - OK so I really like these. Why? These are my guilt free sweet treats. It’s like a soft hearty oatmeal cake/cookie that I enjoy with my coffee in the morning. It’s a better option when you’re in the mood for something small and convenient. Even my 3 year old like these.
Amped Hydrate (Orange, Blue Raspberry) - Made with vitamins C&B, these electrolyte drink mixes help keep me hydrated better than water alone and help replenish nutrients that can be lost throughout the day. It also helps me drink more, period (than if I were left to just guzzle water alone all day). I like having an electrolyte-type drink for when I’m on my period. I just feel like extra hydration helps during that time when I’m more prone to dehydration, headaches, and feeling just ugh. And mommy secret (don’t judge me), I drink a glass before any cocktail happy hour times, to try avoid any next day blues.
Honest Review - I like the orange flavor, but not the Blue Raspberry. However, little healthy hack. I blend the blue raspberry flavor with ice and water and my kids think they have a slushie. Much healthier option than 7-11 slurpees!
Protandim NRF2 - this healthy little pill helps me reduce inflammation and recover from my workouts while also reducing my oxidative stress. It’s scientifically backed and made from natural herbs. Total win.
Honest Review - I’m obsessed with the science, function, and testimonials people are having using this. I have run out and need to grab more ASAP. I love knowing I can help my body on a cellular level now! Prevention is golden!!
Axio - this is my healthy version of an energy drink. It helps keep away brain fog so I can stay focused, increases energy and comes in a variety of flavors I love. Made with healthy ingredients, this is a much better option than a monster energy drink or afternoon coffee.
Honest Review - my axio has become my afternoon go-to when I start to feel like I’m going downhill. I love having these on hand! The convenient little packets make it so simple to take and drink anytime I need it. Current favorite flavors: green grape, dragon fruit, and sour cherry.
