The Easiest Way to Detox Your Makeup Routine

We live in a day and age where folks are really focused on putting their health first.  We recognize that a lot of disease and health concern can be minimized when we remove the amount of toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis. Something we have 100% control over, are the cosmetics we put on our face. The cleaner our makeup, the less toxic our systems.  
​I know a big percentage of my audience is busy women and moms. We don't typically have a ton of time to apply makeup in the morning. Does this sound like you at all?
No matter how early I wake up or how ahead of the game I think I am, we always find ourselves rushing to school.  Oh how the mornings fly, thank God for travel size deodorant!  Now I might be willing to rock yoga pants to the mall once in a blue moon, but as far as my face, I feel the most confident when I've got a little touch up here and there because I know I look awake and ready for anything.   There are just some things that help us walk a little taller, like new undies, and a little concealer.  Am I right or am I right?  Keep reading if you want a make up routine that takes 5 minutes and is full of good for you ingredients and none of the junk.  (Oh and read to the end to find out how you can get it at wholesale cost!)

Wake Up & Make Up: Simple, Healthy, Polished

I'm not one for "face-baking" and my brows are never "on fleek".  But this simple look is just enough to pull me together and highlight what my mama gave me.  Natural beauty.  And you have it too, my friend.  The set I use daily includes these 6 items , plus once in a while some eye liner or bronzer.  But here are my can't live withouts:

Tint Skin Foundation - buildable coverage with moisture attracting ingredients to minimize the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles. (Um yes please) I have fallen more in love with this foundation the more I use it. It leaves your complexion with a healthy dewy glow that looks like your skin (not a mask). The coverage doesn't feel heavy at all and melts into your skin, leaving a smooth natural finish. Touchup Skin Concealer Pen - what under eye shadows and blemishes?  I absolutely love the click pen application and a little goes a long way! Or go bananas and use it everywhere, coffee and concealer all day baby!! I have clients who shop with me strictly for this concealer! It gives smooth coverage, its not cakey or dry and is perfect for brightening and covering unwanted marks. Two of my fave hacks with this concealer:
1) Buy a shade or 2 lighter than your foundation. It will add a highlight effect to dark areas
2) Use the pen brush applicator to smooth and define brows for a clean line and precision look.

Volumizing Mascara - give me all the va-voom.  But without the icky carbon black (yick) This is my favorite mascara wand, the thick brush coats my lashes with goodness and truly, mascara makes a world of difference.  Lashes help open your eyes, helping you to look more awake and youthful! You can choose from the Volumizing or our Lengthening mascara. Or layer both for serious drama.

Satin Powder Blush - I'm alive and may have just worked out :) But seriously! These newly formulated blushes made with Christy Coleman's signature butter powder are to die for! Beautiful pigment, and a variety of shades that are all so stunning, it really is hard to choose! My fave go to is "Nectar".

Color Define Brow Pencil - If you're not already doing your brows, call me.  But really, there's no better way to frame your gorgeous face than with defined eyebrows and this makes it easy and painless. Not to mention way more affordable than some treatments women are paying for these days to the tune of $400-$900. Whaaaaaa?!?!?!? Fill in your brows with easy brush strokes or create  a clean look by drawing lines at top and bottom of your brow. You can create a beautiful look with this pencil. If you want to get really fancy, try using 2 shades for more dimension!

Lip Gloss - A hint of vanilla, some shine, a touch of color, and your mood will instantly lift! It's amazing what a pretty lip can do!
